Advertising , according to Wikipedia , is the promotion of goods, services, companies and ideas usually by an identified sponsor. As part of a marketing strategy, advertising is paid communication. One of the most primitive forms of advertising is ‘word of mouth’. Therefore you will only pay for the advertisement  that you actually use, as supposed to advertising in the radio, the television or other form of print media, where you would have to pay ahead, and you would have to pay even if you do not get one client.

 

So obviously online advertising beats other forms of advertising media with no problem. Business owners with a limited advertising budget do not have to stay out of the competition because of their inability to spend a lot of money in advertising. More importantly, online advertising provides business owners with measurable results which can help in the planning of future advertising campaigns, and in the budgeting of other business operations,since an enterprise can forecast its sales based on prior online advertising campaign results.
